nice scoot look after it!

Brilliant looking scoot, Like it!
I have a cable type lock that has a loop at one end and a 'D' type lock at the other. Cost about £30. It will go around the body of the scoot (see pics) and any other immovable object. If you put it around the forks it can simply be lifted over the wheel. I have a steering lock for what it's worth but like you no ignition switch, but as previously suggested I'm going to fit a hidden switch in the ignition circuit. £30 or £40 on a good lock may save you some serious heartache. Happy scootering.

Hey Smatt your helmet hook is upside down - sorry to be picky

Beatnikid- nice scoot and with a genuine Bristol No. Plate too bonus!

you could run a cable style chain through the fork link, they just about fit- or around the swinging arm. Two locks together work too if you wish to lengthen the lock.

But I reckon you should be able to just cover your scooter in notes of paper, people wouldnt notice it cos they will think it is a giant blob of blue tack!!

Still waiting for the damn papers to come back from DVLA, the plate is nice but there is a catch I didnt have all the info to re-register it on that plate could have but could have been up to 6monthes wait. So looks like I'm going to get another age related plate. But the old number is none-transferable so when I get more scooters I will transfer the original back on. I'm going to get three locks, one massive chain, and two smaller locks. Saw 2 nice vespa's crusing round near carnaby st last nite and a sweet Lambretta on oxford street, makes me even more impatient. Cheers for all the advice hopefully it wont be long. James

Pity. That original plate looks much better than the usual age related jobbies. Why up to 6 months? All thats needed is proof the scoots entitled to it...

What about sticking a tracker system on it !!! Roughly about £400 but if some F@*KER steals it you know where it is and hopefully catch the bastards as well.

Suprised this post is still going. Aint quite sorted yet can you believe it. I finally got Taffspeed in cardiff to sort it, they sorted the engine and clutch, did it fast no pissn round. Now Scooterworks in London pissed around and wasted my time for months and I sent my dad round to get it back and pay to get it outa there and the electrics that they supposidly fixed arent fixed, now I'm questioning everything else they did. So Annoying

A good idea is to get a cover that will distract the opportunists...as a first owned Vespa that is top!
