i got caught in a storm on the M3 last night, i got an MP3 400 and can honestly say i've never felt safer on 2/3 wheels, even blasting thru standing water she never flinched, no more hanging on for grim death like the P2 days

it would be easier to list whats not compatible! on the drum brake model everything but the headset electrics were interchangeable

not sure when they changed but my '84 didn't have a front brake switch, never had a problem at mot
