Re: Foot Brake

Shouldn't be too bad? Cut hole, find mounting points, fit pedal and cable/hydraulics, lock up spare lever?

Find a good welder and get on with it.

Re: kick start buggered

OK....

Second gear, clutch in, run like mad, dump the clutch and grab the throttle! Don't do it in first on a P2, I did that and the bloody thing stood upright on its rear wheel when it fired first time.

Re: new lml arrived today...slow!!!

If you've removed the air filter you will need to upjet. By doing so you are allowing more air into the engine, and will require more fuel to avoid the mixture being weak. What Guy forgets to mention is that a lean running engine - ESPECIALLY ON AN ENGINE THAT IS DESIGNED TO RUN LEAN - will rapid...

Re: kick start buggered

Remove the kickstart entirely and bump the bugger everywhere. Oh, and yes, it is a self tapper for the headlight. Or thats what I use anyway, which isn't quite the same thing....

Re: px200 questions

If you've disconnected the oil pipe, I hope to god you've crimped the end of the little copper tube it was attached to, or you'll find out what 'running lean' means the hard way!

Re: seriously considering buying a px125

I've carried far greater weight than that on my own - I'm currently at 15 stone and I've lost a bit - and have carried pillions. A P125 isn't going to enjoy the experience, a P2 will find it better, but in all honesty buy an auto GTS and you'll have a lot fewer struggles on your hands.

Pass your test and buy a P2 then. A P125 with a pillion isn't fun :(
