Re:

When I first got my hands on it the first thing I did (after posing round town, of course) was to attack the engine with Auto Glym engine cleaner. 2 days later and one sparkely engine (and two wrecked hands, proper nasty). It soon started to POUR down the back of the casing, on to the rear drum an...

Re: Shed Weekender 11th-13th July 2008

Rumour was that 4th Shed 2008 rally was the last.

Official word late last night from Gibbo was he'll do it again next year. We reconfirmed this with him this morning. Perhaps we'll see you all there again.

Fun was had by all and top marks to Gibbo and his assistants.

Re: LED bulbs & indicators

indeed, my thoughts were though that the frequency of on/offs, could cause damage to the unit. I wasn't sure and when I spoke to electronics people they just went for the old suggestion of stick a rectifier in which wasn't much use. I have a few jobs on the T5 and I think I might try a LED rear lig...

Re: LED bulbs & indicators

I'm unsure on these still. In electronics, LEDs are diodes and therefore work only on DC. yet the P range has an interesting system which it runs on 12v AC. In electronics you cannot use LEDs successfully on AC circuits, they need to be rectified to DC. I haven't looked into the wiring of later P ra...

Re: Camber Sands

They aren't knocking it down. Pontins is being taken over and there is a strong chance of the resort being refurbished. Maybe next year there won't be mould on the sheets. Also I heard that there will be another rally next year as they are booking it now. Till then though, the countdown to Hemsby t...

The VCB is often a good place to start with assistance. There is a fella who goes by the name of Bill Drake. He is the VCBs DVLA registrar. Perhaps we need a simple guide here on what to do about the registering larky. What you need to collect, which form, who to speak to and how much it'll cost...
