What Guy forgets to mention is that a lean running engine - ESPECIALLY ON AN ENGINE THAT IS DESIGNED TO RUN LEAN - will rapidly lead to you putting a nice hole in your piston, invalidating your warranty and leaving you neck deep in the brown smelly stuff.
Put it all back now, and then find the article somewhere before it's too late.
Now pull the plug and nope its not white, if it is then you may already have done damage, also there is a reason why manufacturers tell you not to exceed certain speeds during running in, and while I appreciate the temptation is strong to wind it open...... DON'T!
(That reminds me, you may actually get lucky... I know of plenty of shops that overjet new bikes to stop their owners abusing them during running in. This would 1 - allow you to open the throttle with minimal risk, and 2) supply more fuel to compensate for you pulling all the foam out.... But don't count on it!)
