Powdercoating

Postby Brucie on Wed Nov 04, 2009 10:25 pm

I am going to get a few bits powdercoated on my scoot which is now in pieces. One bit is the front forks.
Can these be done attached to the suspension arm as one bit or does the suspension arm need to be removed :?: . Any advice is much appreciated.

Cheers Bruce

Not really, you need to strip then down to bare metal, no rubber or plastic (due to heat of the process) and needs to all be spotlessly clean and grease free.
