Speak to Oz about the T5s..

I got a early -89 PX non auto-lube and a the same with and a MK1 T5 with anolouge rev counter and 3 Millenniums. All original condition.

Can't get hold of Oz, he doesn't show up on SBW these days, and I lost his number ages ago

An early 89 non autolube PX? Is that legit? Thought they changed over in about 84? I may be in touch about the Milleniums and T5 though, and if you can assure me the PX is correct then that too. Not seen anything apart from early T5s without autolube after 84.

Sorry mate its my chubby fingers - its a P2 79 (not 89) auto lube and a P2 79 without lube, The millenniums are numbers 290 and 391 also have one witch is defo all Millennium but with out the limited edition badge, everything is exactly the same as a milly but no badge even frame nuber is close to my badged ones, only thing i can think there was an production over run. Its not a Classic and its not a MY before people ask there are subtle small things that make a millennium different to the Classic and the MYs

LOL, had me worried then..... that makes a lot more sense then. I'd be interested in the unbadged Millenium too, thats a new one on me.

How about my mates 74 Rally 200 with autolube.... if we only knew the truth i think we'd be amazed to see how many variants of each model there actually were.

Havent got a stock one Nik, but if you're trying to list all variants youve missed out P125X for starters. Also need to consider the non-indicator 6v Mk1's as well. Had a couple of non indicator P125X's through my hands a couple of years back.

Heard about those before, never seen one though.

I'm working on a complete and definative history of the scooterboy workhorse, the Rally can wait for another day.....

Dan motors scooter are indonesian built scooters (PS Strada, exclusive and excel) if you need any pics of these just let me know mate and i will get a few shots for you. I am only here for another couple of weeks so let me know quick.

Dan Motors are definately on my wants list, TBH one of the inspirations for this whole idea. Any photos you can get that illustrate differences between each other and the Piaggio equivelent would be more than welcome, thanks.

Couple of webfinds Nik....note the Rally style gearchange on the handlebar as no indicator switch fitted. Got a few old brochures somewhere in the loft too.

6v lighting, system is nothing like normal P, completely different loom. Fitting 12v electronic stator is not an easy plug & play job

Both very early ones at a guess... I'm off to see one of the first 500 made in the next couple of weeks, that should be as much of a base model as I'm ever likely to find!


This obsession is getting...well...... obsessive!
