Now I have decided to do a proper Vespa PK50 project
Here it is as I got it

As you can see it was a bit broke
So the first thing was to strip it down. Then my dad had the master idea. Lets Stick a GP mud guard on, so we did. Next I really dont like the standard indicators, so why not use Ford focus repeaters. I also hate the welding spots and seams on old scooters so I started to smooth everywhere and correct any dints etc.

Then it was upto the primer and smoothing stage

Now deciding my bike was totally custom and one of a kind i decided for a custom paint job. This was done by a good friend of mine. Eric from ESP Scooters

Now we move onto the engine. Im sorry but i have no pics for this bit yet...
Firstly it was fully stripped and acid bathed. I then went onto cleaning all the grime off.
Next was to start the tuning under the watchful eye of Eric we started to Port and polish the engine (the worst bit of the entire project)
Next was the crank. Now im not clued up on scooter parts. I just asked Eric to get me the best. So my new performance crank came and we balanced it to make sure it was perfect and Eric did some other mods to it.
Next was the piston which is a 136cc Mallossi Performance Piston and cylinder (we then made the ports bigger on this too).
Next we put an uprated gear parts (id call it a gearbox if it was a car) and performance clutch.
I then got a cheapo Polini Exhaust because with me being a student I was running out of money!
We were then stopped on the engine sides as we needed a inlet manifold to run my big stonking carb.
So we then started to build the bike.
I have uprated/adjustable front and rear suspension.
Now one of my favourite bits about the bike is my front brake set up
Firstly you get the forks off a PX125 Disc
Secondly you take the lock stops off so it'll fit in your PK.
Thirdly you attach the PX hub to the forks and build up all your suspension and front disk
4th you get the brake set up off a Typhoon (this way your master cylinder can hide in your butty box)
Then attach your pk wheel to the px hub
VOILA Front disk for about 60quid

And thats it how it stands now manifold has arrived the bike is all wired up and got all the cable going were they need to. Floor runners are on.
Any question and ill be happy to answer or pass them onto Eric he's alot clever than me with the technical stuff
Any comments and crits welcome too
