Hi I'm in Calgary Canada and we're really short on info over here. I have a 59 douglas I'm working on and I can't find a matching wiring diagram anywhere. I have no experience with Lucas electronics so I don't know whats right and whats be previously screwed!!. I contacted the Douglas Riders Club and the tossers denied all knowledge of douglas vespas.
Any help would be apprecceited

If it's a UK built Douglas then it's not a VBA, VBA is the Italian model and not the same. Your Douglas is a 42L2 maybe?
Wiring diagrams for the VBA are on scooterhelp.com probably will not match yours, but may give you what you need to know, wiring is very basic...

a '59 Douglas is likely to be a 152L2 or a 'new 150' Pretty sure I have diagrams, I'll have a look tomorrow and post if I do!
