I fell in love with this restored bike at my local dealership/scoot guru. However, I'm utterly new to bikes and haven't a clue. I know this isn't the most sensible first bike, but I want it so badly that I know if I don't get it I'll regret it the rest of my life. I just need someone to tell me what I need to do in terms of looking after it.

a) How often do I need to service it, and how much does this cost?
b) What bits might need replacing, how often, and how much?
c) What regular maintenance do I need to do myself (eg cleaning/part checking etc) and how often?

If only you could see this gorgeous scoot - I can't stop thinking about it!

What's the shop? Any chance you could get a pic?
Alll that worries me is the possibility of it being restored in the far east...and if it is don't buy it no matter what!!!

If its a VBB and you don't know about scooters, don't walk away - RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN. I'd reckon that 75% of the VBBs I've seen over the last few years have been Nammer death traps.

And thats being generous.

i think you have had an escape not getting it like Nik says at least 75% are nammers
