MOTOVESPA- Spanish Primavera

Postby Timbo on Fri Oct 30, 2009 7:54 pm

Hi everybody my names Tim and I live in Brighton....the setting for the movie Quadraphonia!

Anyway I've just acquired a Spanish built 125 Primavera NK and will be restoring it. I'm going to be relying on the Vespa Club of Britain though to help me get it registered as it has no Registration Plate or papers!

Can anybody recommend the best place to get spares for Spanish built Motovespa's? The headset is different on those Primavera's built in Madrid and I'm going to need a front light, key ignition and speedo as these have all been taken. Any suggestions gratefully received!

Exsoulagent.....Thanks for the link to the Buzzsolomoto site. I'll be contacting these guys to see if they can source the parts I need. It seems they do pick up Scooters in Spain so hopefully they will be able to help. I'm about to send off a request to Bill Drake at VCB to see if he can date my 125 Primavers NK. I think its probably around 1983 but without any papers or registration plate it might be a tough one to date. The frame and engine numbers aren't very clear either... is the image your Primavera? Again thanks fot the help....Timbo
