I have been looking around at various models, prices etc. One that caught my eye is a 1983 E reg. It has 27000 on the clock - trying to find out if this is km. The seller is looking for £1095 ONO - any thoughts? Just had the seals done, will service it before selling.

Way too much IMHO, I'd not be willing to pay more than £650, and then it would have to be in excellent condition. Ignore the speedo, they're notorious for not working, so even if the cable and drive has been sorted there is no guarantee that its even close to accurate.

Take someone with you, and haggle like a bstud, but really.... £1000+ for a P125? No way.
Also, an 83 model should have either a Y or an A plate IIRC..... thats slightly iffy!
