P2 ENGINE

Hi All
Just rebuilt my p2 engine malossi 210 all matched new crank new bearings and seals clutch etc have fitted an hp4 flywheel and it runs great but has a real raw from flywheel side on tickover it goes when reved up. Is this normal with hp4 lightened flywheels?

I think its a roar..... you get a lot of bearing noise with lightend flywheels - rumble. Also it could be the air over the fins, unless it sounds like something rubbing then it should be ok.

with the light flywheel it hasn't got as much weight to chuck around so your compression is a little more lumpier - and the tick over is normally higher.

Thanks for your help am i right in saying you get a bit more end float on flywheel with the hp4 fitted?

HP4 is not a good move even a genuine one which I can pretty much garuntee yours isn't. Get it the f**K off and run either a modded alloy PK one or a lghtened P if you must. I'd need to hear abit more about your block but TEH it gets nasty with clutch weights etc.
