Hi all,
I just wondered if anyone has experienced the problem i have. I have a 125 vespa 06 plate and last night i went to start it up and it was 10 times louder than usual sounding like the exhaust had gone. I looked down and the little plastic panel held in by a single screw in front of the engine, between your legs was missing. Someone has pinched it obviously but on speaking to a garage they informed me the part would only be £20 to replace. I therefore am worried that something else may have been taken from the engine thus making it so much louder. OR if i replace this panel will the sound be muffled again. I am also worried that taking it to get fixed ( thus driving it ) in this state if there is something damaged/missing might cause even more damge ??
Any ideas what part they could have been after that is worth anything substantial.
Anyone else had a similar problem and wouldnt it be nice to catch one of these little toe rags in the act ...
thanks for any advice.
Simon
