Can I replace my VNA 3speed gearbox with the internals from a 4speed,thus keeping the original cases/number.Will it fit?

Did it on my VBA to make it a bit more rideable, pity you are in Oz, I've a spare 4 speed box in my shed...

is this possible on my scoot its an indian vespa 1970 3 speed if so what exactly would i need to do it

Is it possible to do this with a vespa 90? If so which scoot should i take the gearbox from?

3 speed to 4 speed on the old 2 port engine (not small frame - no idea about those!) is easy enough, you need the layshaft & cogs, mainshaft & cogs, gear selector, split the engine and swap them over..

I do have a good complete 4 speed box, all thats needed which will fit a VBA or VNA if anyone is interested PM me..
