I want to link the Cheam Cheetahs a previously very Lambretta Club to the VCB but a group are saying any shortfalls on the part of the VCB can be passed on to any affiliated club. I think this is panicky talk but as a no funds club would the three proposing members be held accountable to the VCB for funds

if there is an incident and someone decides to sue the VCB for whatever reason, a solicitor has told another club with which the VCB has close links with, that all the members are liable for any debt that insurers or the VCB cannot cover.

to prevent this we are proposing at the VCB 2009 AGM to become a Public Ltd Company where the liability is basically only 1 years subscription to each member should insurance not cover us. This however needs us to have directors who would produce accounts each year (I can't wait for this )
