I had around 5 lessons on a Honda CG125... Passed my test this Monday (had to wait a month to rent the bike)

If your seriously wanting to do your full licence i would reccomend just doing it on a 125, easy to ride and doesnt take long to switch to changing gear with your foot!

I know some people "wouldn't be seen dead" on a bike or whatever, but it saves having to run about or travel to do your test on a T5 (or LML)

Got pulled over last night though coppers asking where my L plates are

Franco makes a fair point. BIkes really arent that hard to ride. A lot of scooterists seem to refuse to even consider using a bike for the test. Never understood that myself, the fact that the gears are changed by foot makes no difference to me at all, but then I've always ridden both. The scooters come first every time, always have done, but never seen any reason not to ride bikes just becuase I'm a scooterist.

TRY SITTING YOUR TEST UP IN GLASGOW. THE EXAMINERS ARE A NIGHTMARE, LAUGH AT SCOOTERISTS AND GENERALLY HAVE NO TIME FOR YOU. UNLESS I GOT THE ONLY ONE WHO DOESNT THINK SCOOTERS SHOULD BE ON THE ROAD. THERE'S ME THINK ALL 2 WHEEL RIDERS HAD SOMETHING IN COMMON. YOU GET MORE RESPECT FROM THE GUYS WHO PASS YOU ON THE ROAD, ON THERE RACE BIKES.
